I'll install utorrent on another Windows 10 machine too and see if I have that same problem. I'll report back and see if that helps or not, if there is an update.

It shouldn't but on purpose or not, an update just might be responsible for this. I'm gonna look at Windows 10 updates and try uninstalling anything in the last two days and see if that helps.

Now, uTorrent isn't illegal, but MS just might have issued some patch that did this. The reason I say that is because MS just made a statement saying that Windows 10 can stop 'illegal' software if they want to. Nope, still having same problem! Ya know, this sounds a little suspicious. I've never had this issue before.ĭid you find a solution for this issue? My machine has the exact same issue that started this morning. Anyway, I have no idea what the problem is. Bittorrent looks exactly like uTorrent, I think uTorrent owns Bittorrent or vice versa. I have 16GB of RAM, but I don't understand why all of sudden, it started shutting down.Īs of right now, it seems to be OK, but I d/led uTorrent Portable and I still don't know if it's going to work, because before that I tried d/ling Bittorrent and it did the same thing. When you open up Task Manager, it shows the memory slowly shoot up to about 1.5GB and it just stops responding and then shuts down. I've tried rebooting, I've tried changing the virtual memory and I get the same thing. It was a little large at 3.5gb, so I tried another file around that same range, and it did the same thing. I tried deleting the torrent and then I tried another one.

I've used uTorrent with Windows 10 quite a few times with no problem whatsoever. At least it gets 28 mpg on our daily routes to/from work.Hi, I'm using a validated copy of Windows 10 and I was using uTorrent today and suddenly I got a message that it ran out of memory. And on a non-electrical gremlin issue, hopefully my passenger side rear view mirror falling off issue will be resolved with this dealer visit too. Only exception is the charge port door and charging codes. The good news is that after several dealer visits the old gremlins are gone - hoping to not get any new ones. I am able to deal with a lot of the glitches as I know this car is one big computer network, but I had hoped after a couple of years most of the gremlins would have been removed. Once getting stuck and having to get towed to the dealer. We have had a lot of experiences of the electrical things not working. I agree that this car doesn't give me a great sense of confidence. (What we were told) We did bring it in for it and a reprogram - it hasn't happened since, but when we brought it in the displays were back to normal anyways. If the car senses your FOB it doesn't totally turn off. Volt Adviser said that you have to leave the immediate area for 20 minutes and then come back for a "reset".

Afterall, our vehicle is under warranty still. I was thinking of a battery disconnect reset/reboot but people here talking about issues with a loss of 12V battery power made me nervous to try it with GM telling me to. One time HVAC wouldn't work no matter what you did. Then they would work after the car turned off completely. Sometimes the center stack LCD was out, sometimes the buttons under the center stack LCD wouldn't work.
